NorthWord Church wants people to see
the Lord — lifted up, honored, and cherished. We want the
same for children, too.
We are pleased to now offer a
children's and youth ministry for all
ages.
Our new children's ministry meets the needs of younger families so they, too, can
experience in-depth Bible teaching, a focus on growing our
relationships with Christ, and fellowship within our
community.
It allows our kids to experience a
similar in-depth Bible teaching that our adults enjoy, but
geared to a fun, creative, and hands-on approach. The
curriculum follows teacher-led workbooks that help kids
focus on learning biblical truths, with time dedicated for
interaction and creative activities so that those truths
become practical in their lives.
Children join with their family for
singing and communion time,
then experience their own
age-oriented (grades K-6) teaching during the sermon portion of our
Sunday morning services.
Each Sunday at NorthWord, service is followed by a
meal served in the high school commons area, offering an
excellent opportunity for beginning and building
relationships and for strengthening community fellowship in
Christ for both kids and adults.
We encourage families of all ages to visit and experience the NorthWord
community — especially now because we
offer a place, a safe haven, for children to be included and
to come and
be touched by Jesus.
